STEP 1

Agency Consultation

• Consult with any SMEAG-approved agency in your area.
• The agency will provide you with the necessary guidance and preparation for your study in the Philippines.

STEP 2

Registration and Invoice Issuance

• Apply for admission through a partner agency and a registration payment of US $100 will be collected.

STEP 3

Tuition Fee

• Check and comprehend SMEAG's regulations and refund policies for tuition and dormitory expenses in accordance to your study period. You will be given two weeks to pay the tuition fee in full.
• If payment is not made within the provided time frame, application will be automatically cancelled.

STEP 4

Flight Ticket Provision

• After all payments are performed, flights will be scheduled according to the dates indicated by your study period.
• You are advised to double-check the personal information stated on your documents to avoid any complications.

STEP 5

Orientation

• You will be scheduled for a final orientation with your chosen agency.

STEP 6

Preparations

• Foreigners can stay in the Philippines for 30 days without visa. (Or 59-day visa application is available.)
   - After visa entry, SMEAG will help you extend your visa in the future.
   - Please refer to Training Expenses in Training Registration Guide for details of local payment costs.
• Currency Exchange and Citibank International Cash
   - If you arrive in the country, you can exchange your money in advance or prepare US 100 for the best exchange rate.
   - If you bring your Citibank International Cash Card, you can withdraw pesos at Citibank in front of Cebu Ayala Mall.
• If you come with a credit card, bring a card with a Visa, Master or other internationally accepted mark.
   (You must register at the bank for overseas use.)
• International students' insurance is expensive in the Philippines if foreigners are treated in the Philippines.
   (You can apply for insurance that is available overseas or you can ask for it at the agent.)
• Other preparations
   - Electronic dictionary, books to study, sun cream, hat, swimsuit, toiletries, toiletries, first aid, camera, towel, cosmetics, etc.

STEP 7

Departure

• Be sure to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight schedule. Bring all the necessary documents for your study and follow all the airline regulation to avoid inconvenience.

STEP 8

Arrival in the Philippines

• Duty-free items have strict regulations in the Philippines that is why purchase is made difficult. In such cases, additional taxes may be added.

STEP 9

Pick-up

• Upon arrival, go straight to the customs. An SMEAG manager holding a placard will be waiting for you outside the airport.

STEP 10

Arrival in SMEAG

• You will receive a Welcome Pack together with your dormitory key. You may connect to Wi-Fi at the lobby or administrative office.
